Chicago is considered a special place in terms of travelling, entertainment, history and location as it is in the heart of the Midwest. Chicago, located at the shore of the Lake Michigan, has attraction for the people who want to enjoy the pleasures of the comedy, theatre, blues and jazz.
Chicago has become the great destination for the travelers coming from round the globe. While having walk on the streets of this city, you will find several skyscrapers and great architectures that contribute a lot in achieving the title of “city‘s skyline” for this place. Chicago has become the home of millions people belonging to different ethnicities which can easily traced when you are have a visit to this great city.
 This city also provides great pleasure to its visitors regardless of their affordability of the holiday expenses. You will find numerous luxurious hotels and restaurants that can be easily attained in reasonable prices.  Chicago is the great city to spend holidays, you can go to parks, beaches and it also has some marvelous buildings like galleries, churches, museums of art and science. In this city tourists have a chance to meet film and music celebrities as Chicago is considered the third productive town in film industry.
There are many great movies like The Untouchables, Blues Brothers and Batman Begins, these all have been produced here. Chicago is the city where literature, improvisational comedy, theatre and fiction work in general at home.  The most popular theaters are the Broadway in Chicago, the Steppenwolf and the Auditorium. If you do not like being entertained by theatres, you can visit museums like the Adler Planetarium, Field Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Museum of Mexican Art of the museum of Photography and the Lincoln Park Zoo.
If you are nature lover, you should visit parks like the Millennium Park, the Jackson Park, the Rogers Park, the Grant Park and the Lincoln Park. Many events and festivals occur in Chicago round the year and the most important events are the Taste of Chicago that occurs in July, the Jazz Fest, the Gospel Fest, the Blues Fest and the Indie Rock Fest are known as the Lollapalooza. For sport lovers, Chicago has great opportunities to give. Here you find many famous sport clubs like Chicago Bears, the hockey team Chicago Blackhawks, the basketball team Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox and the baseball teams Chicago Cubs.

You can enjoy new things in Chicago while having ride on bicycle, using buses, taxies, trains or the trolleys find a new type of enjoyment that is difficult to find somewhere else. You can also enjoy the delicious taste of Chicago foods, the most famous food is the deep dish pizza which is given the title of Chicago Pizza and the Chicago Hotdog.  If you have low budget in terms of accommodation, you should try to find residence outside the downtown area where you can find many living places at low price.  It does not matter where you stay and what you eat, you really enjoy your holiday trip in Chicago.
